Note: Bei Xing is bitter in nature hence we don't add in as much as Nan Xing. This soup actually helps to strengthen the lungs. I would normally boil this once every 2 weeks for my kids :)
I decided to try something new when I saw a packet of braised pigs' ears (my girl's favourite) in the ntuc. The packet of pigs' ears does not comes with any sauce so I would have to prepare myself. I also bought a packet of pig's stomach and braised tofu.Steps:

I saw this recipe in one of my recipe book (电锅百宝菜) and improvise it to make it a complete meal. My kids loved this as the rice becomes very sweet. The salt actually removes the "fishy" smell that my son hates.

I liked this rice dish. I would usually added celery to the rice to make it a complete meal. A variety of taste within one dish!(I've re-shot this dish - this time no celery as I have another vege dish cooked. Brown beech mushroom is used instead of shitake mushroom.)
