Tips from Me

  1. Pre-cut and wash all vegetables at night and keep it in air-tight containers or ziplock bag to preserve it's freshness. Vegetables is still fresh the next day when you come back from work to cook dinner :)
  2. Use thermal cooker to boil soup, stew or cook rice & porridge. Saves time and electricity.
  3. If you do not have time to cook in the morning, boil soup over night (5 mins before putting in thermal pot) and re-boil again (5 mins before putting in thermal pot) in the morning.
  4. No time to cook? You can prepare a 1-dish meal with thermal cooker. Cook stew/curry (boil for 10mins at night) using the bottom pot. Reboil the stew/curry (for 5 mins) and cook rice using the upper pot in the morning. Place both pots in the thermal cooker and dinner is ready to be served by the time you come home :)
  5. Onions, carrots, potatoes, glutinous rice, dried scallops, soy beans and honey dates gives a sweet taste in soups. Good substitutes for seasoning.
