Peanut Soup with Lotus Roots
This is one of my favourite. Tasty yet easy to cook :0
I've used the thermal pot to cook, hence, steps are the same as all my other soup recipes :)

I've used the thermal pot to cook, hence, steps are the same as all my other soup recipes :)
Ingredients:
- 3/4 bowl of peanuts (I wanted more taste so added more)
- 300g of pork ribs (and meatballs for my kids)
- Lotus Roots (amount depends on how much you love them)
- 10 seedless red dates
- 4 bowls of water
Potato with Minced Beef
Another simple beef dish with no seasoning added and can be prepared in 8 mins....
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- Minced beef (can season with sesame oil, pepper & soya sauce for a stronger taste)
- potato (cubed)
No special steps....just stir-fry the potato a little before putting in the beef. Nice with minced chicken too :)
Long Bean
This is one of the easier and faster to prepare dish....cut, wash & cooked in 8 mins!
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- Long Beans
- Garlic (ready-chopped)
- Dried shrimps (soaked)
Remember to fry the shrimps with the garlic so that the taste of the shrimps is "fully utilised". (hahaha.....sorry, can't find the right word to use!)
To save time, soak the shrimps first you start anything so by the time the long beans is washed and cut, the shrimp would be soft enough to be fried :)

"Kailan" with Beef
I loved beef so naturally loved this dish :)
Stir frying "kailan" with beef is great especially when beef gives a natural sweet taste when fried.
For a stronger taste, the beef can be seasoned with pepper, sesame oil and soya sauce, and placed in the fridge overnite.
Ingredients:
- sliced beef
- Kailan
- garlic (ready chopped)
